History Hallwood Training Services is run by Ian Hallwood
Ian has drawn from his experiences in a variety of roles, working in the Royal Air Force, The Suffolk Constabulary and the Retail Industry.
Fed up of working for others and tired of the customer not being given the respect they require he looked into several services and chose Driving Instruction as the main Training Stream of his company.
He also trains in a variety of Soft Skills such as Communications, Leadership/ Fellowship, Customer Services and Conflict Management.
"My aim is to provide honest respectful training to the customer who want value for money and tangible results which are cost effective, not just in the short term, but forever."
Ian is a Grade 6 Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) (the highest grade achievable) and also holds a Gold ROSPA standard in Advanced Driving. He also trains and presents to students on National Driver Improvement Schemes AND National Speed Awareness Courses.
Steve O’Kane After a career in Insurance Broking Steve decided to retrain as a Driving Instructor with Hallwood Training Services and qualified in 2009.
Motivated by a desire to provide effective driver training which will stay with the customer throughout their driving lifetime or career, he feels that driver training is one of the most important life skills which is only now being recognised.

Steve is a Grade 5 Approved Driving Instructor and is registered to deliver Pass Plus Courses. He is also a member of the Driving Instructor Association. |
